Rehabilitation Assessment and Planning
Assessment of existing rehabilitation and planning for future rehabilitation works is an essential step towards achieving closure standards required for bond reduction.

In conjunction with Rehabilitation assessment and planning, Rally is experienced in developing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) agreements between clients and regulators. A KPI agreement establishes rehabilitation standards and monitoring benchmarks upon which bond reduction applications can be assessed. KPI's provide a blueprint for constructing a stable landform and a tangible end point for achieving closure.

It is crucial that the development of KPI agreements for the closure of landforms be developed in conjunction with materials characterisation in order to develop the design and construction criteria of the KPI agreement. Materials characterisation is vital to the construction of a stable landform that will support the development of self-sustaining ecosystems that satisfy post-closure land use requirements.

Vegetation Monitoring
Landscape Function Analysis (LFA) is utilised on rehabilitated landforms to monitor the progress of ecosystem development with the aim of achieving a stable, self-sustaining ecosystem that is consistent with post closure land use goals.

Vegetation monitoring can be conducted in conjunction with KPI agreements negotiated with the Department of Mines and Petroluem for the purpose of bond returns at the achievement of key rehabilitation stages.
